Morgan was a featured actress as a woman in the AIDS prevention and education video Safe Sex for Men and Women. A portion of the profits was donated towards the American Foundation for AIDS Research. She's a part of the Entertainment Industry AIDS Task Force. Morgan was the driving force in many fundraising campaigns to fight this disease. Morgan also gave a speech to a Congressional special committee that focused on AIDS education. She sits on the board of Governors of APLA. She has been asked to take over the role of former Surgeon General C. Everett Koop at the AIDS-related gatherings. Steve Bell, a news anchor, has also been host of a AIDS Awareness Special. Ted Koppell and Morgan have made appearances on Nightline twice to discuss AIDS. Morgan has received the Emmy nomination for her extra episode in Murphy Brown written for her by Diane English. In the spring, she starred with Joan Rivers in ABC television's Your Money or Your Wife. She then started the summer by starring in Murder At The PTA Luncheon that was created by Von Zerneck/Sertner and included Cindy Williams and Marla Gibbs. The next part of her project brought Morgan to Luxembourg in which she appeared in the role of Sherlock Holmes and the Leading Lady in the production of Harmony Gold. Christopher Lee and Patrick McNee were also in the show. Morgan has also been featured in a psycho thriller made by USA Network. The film was a huge success and received the highest ratings ever.
